Where did they hide Tate Modern?!?

Museum Madness!
I was off to find Tate Modern in a hurry. I recalled the 'Weather Project' featured in the Turbine Hall (left). This was an impressive exhibition. There were mirrors along the ceiling and a large semicircular monochromatic light that reflected as a whole sun above steaming pipes. This light only allowed you to see everything in sepia hues bringin you into an entirely new dimension. I was very excited to show Erin and Anna this hall. The thought never occurred to me that it was only a temporary exhibit.
We had quite the time finding this museum, however. It took many hours of wandering and speculating until we realized that our guidebook was older than the museum!
When we entered the hall we were greeted with the dissonant sounds of three separate ensembles playing different music. There was no order to the madness! I later discovered that this was a staging of John Cage's minicircus!

I looked around the different activities they had set up for the 'Long weekend' and was quite impressed with the variety. Tate Britain and Modern along with Victoria & Albert had an impressive selection of things for children to do.
I was distressed when I discovered I wouldn't be able to see the entire collection of V&A in 4 hours. The place was monstrously huge! I was nearly lost in the winding halls and endless rows of shelving.
The Museum of London was the biggest surprise. I hadn't heard of this place, but we came across it during our 'wanderings'. It was organized into a very nice 'attainable' sort of way. This was something I could digest without having an anxiety attack! We found the character exhibit and had a bit of fun dressing up like famous Londoners!
